Since 2001, through AES Rural Energy, we have contributed to reduce the number of households without electricity. 

The Geração+ Program aims to promote students’ creativity and leadership through social and environmental challenges related to natural resources, contributing to the creation of solutions that positively impact communities.

On May 22nd 2018, a partnership between the AES Dominicana Foundation and the Dominican Rehabilitation Association was launched to support people with physical disabilities and offer physical, occupational, language therapy, pedagogy and other services.

By partnering and sharing knowledge with coffee and cocoa producers, AES Colombia is empowering local producers and improving community knowledge, skills, attitude, and motivation for the management of crops. 

AES México partnered with a local university to implement EnerLab, a social energy challenge that tasked students to solve a problem in our communities using renewable energy solutions. 

AES Mong Duong has implemented an educational program on electricity safety that includes presentations and games to provide helpful information and increase awareness for the people in the Cam Hai commune. 

Trees for Indy program, a partnership of AES Ohio, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc., and DPW / Indy Parks, works to significantly increase plantings of public trees in Indianapolis.

Power Grants are strategic investments aimed at local partner organizations supporting new or continued innovative growth initiatives that will make a long-lasting impact on the people and communities in the Dayton Region. 

AES Panamá launched an initiative to bring electric power to the homes in the community where we operate.
